Mission Statement The principle objectives of Headway Nottingham are to promote the understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide information, support and services to those living in Nottinghamshire who have sustained a brain injury, along with their families and carers. Our Values We follow the social model of disability We treat people as individuals with individual needs and work to remove the barriers that prevent people from playing a full part in society. We identify and maximise potential We work with staff, service users, volunteers, families and carers to provide opportunities to meet the needs of those we support. We are professional We conduct ourselves in a way that gains the respect and admiration of people inside and outside of our organisation. We protect vulnerable adults We are committed to ensuring that whilst using our services the risks to vulnerable people are minimised. We respect each other Everyone has a different, yet equally important role to play and we recognise and respect different skills and knowledge. We are accountable Everyone is accountable for their actions and were we to make a mistake we would do all we can to learn from it. We are honest and trustworthy We ensure that our actions are beyond reproach and we maintain confidentiality with those we work with and for. We listen and learn We ensure that our support and our services remain relevant to the needs of our clients, and of the highest quality by listening to the client, their families and other professionals. This enables us to respond in an informed and effective manner to the ever-changing landscape of rehabilitation services in Nottinghamshire. Manage Cookie Preferences
